Web Developer - TypeScript

openFORCE Information Technology specialises in individual software solutions and is based in the heart of Vienna. Our Engineering team is organised in squads and uses the agile working methodology to develop complex software and digitalisation projects for our well-known clients.

We are currently building up a new team for one of our clients whose goal is to enable customers and companies to make responsible decisions that protect our planet for future generations. Specifically, this project will help companies to evaluate and track the carbon and water footprint of their facilities.

In our team we develop features across all layers of the application. Our responsibility reaches from UI/UX design to our CI/CD pipeline, so that we deliver software fast, reliable and tested.

This does not mean that you need to be an expert for all the tasks that come up, so if you love to optimize queries to our PostgreSQL database you are just as welcome as if you are into styling the last pixel of our Angular application or if you just want to push the average build time of our project even further below 5 minutes from a "git push" to production.

• You will develop a new product together with your squad and our client in an agile setup

• Minimum of 2 years hands-on experience in web development with JavaScript/TypeScript
• A deep understanding of at least one Frontend JavaScript Framework (e.g. Angular, React or Vue) or one Backend JavaScript Framework (e.g. Nest, Fastify, Express)
• Passion for new technologies and applications
• A true team player
• Experience with Git and working with a large codebase
• Strong interest in usability and user experience
• German language skills are a plus

For legal matters, we state that the minimum wage for this position is € 2.556,- gross per month according to the collective agreement (Kollektivvertrag). However, depending on your qualification a fair and market tracking overpayment is to be expected.
